Ice Fishing
Rice Lake has been an ice fishing hot spot for a long time. Rice Lake has ice fishing for panfish such as perch, crappie, and sunfish.
2, 3 & 4 man huts. $30 per person, per day. The huts are heated, insulated, and lit.
Cottage #6 is available as a winterized 3-bedroom cottage with a 4-piece bathroom T.V., microwave, furnace, and a deck overlooking the lake.
Walk to your hut, catch a ride, or drive your own sled or 4×4.
Fishing License
You can get the fishing license online at the Ontario Fishing & Hunting Licences website.
If you are a Canadian resident, you don’t need a fishing license during Ontario Family Fishing Events.
